Bulletin readers win tickets to Moody Gardens Festival of Lights

By John Toth

The Bulletin

Four Bulletin readers have been randomly selected for a chance to win free tickets to Moody Gardens Festival of Lights in Galveston.

This is the last ticket give-away of the year for The Bulletin. We’re working on several venues and events for 2025 to bring you even more chances to win free tickets.

The Bulletin in 2024 has given away thousands of dollars worth of free tickets to area venues and events. It is one of the ways we thank our readers for being part of our Bulletin family all these years.

The Bulletin started its 30th year of publication in July, and plans are to keep bringing you local information, interesting columns and features and chances to enter free-ticket contests for many more years.

Winners of the Moody Gardens Festival of Lights tickets are:

Michael Schlomach of Sweeny, who picked up The Bulletin at Stewart’s Grocery Store in Sweeny;

Diana Jackson, of Lake Jackson, who got the paper at St. Luke’s Hospital, Brazosport, in Lake Jackson;

Jessica Roberts of Lake Jackson, who reads The Bulletin online; and Tissie Schwebel of West Columbia, who picked up The Bulletin at Chop Stix restaurant in Angleton.

Each winner has been mailed four passes to the festival, which runs through Dec. 31.

Thank you Moody Gardens for partnering with us again this year. We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership in 2025.

The Bulletin has been running give-away contests since the paper started in 1994. Most of the prizes have been tickets to venues with which we partner.

The Bulletin is published four times a month. December contains five Tuesdays, and we decided to skip the  Dec. 24 issue and to resume publishing on Dec. 31. That issue will most likely be distributed on Monday, Dec. 30.

Until then, thank you all for supporting the paper for three decades.

 We wish all of you a very merry Christmas.
